INDIA: A PILGRIMAGE
A spiritual pilgrimage with Nancy Nomellini and Audra Carmine
91DACqKczTL_edited.jpg

From the beginning of time, humans have journeyed to Holy Lands. Embarking on a pilgrimage, they have left the familiarity of their homes, traveled far from what is known and predictable, and immersed themselves in newness. Why? To lose themselves, to get lost, to get found, to connect with the Divine, and to connect with the world around them and inside them. Simply put, we leave so that we can change.

We get stuck, yet our souls are longing to wake up, to connect with the numinous, to expand around what is unsolvable in our hearts, and find freedom. We do this all the time: we walk a new route, we jump in the ocean, we go to a new restaurant, we play a game, or take a class in something we know little about. Nothing, though, is more familiar and unfamiliar, than India.

What we think we know will be challenged. The order we are accustomed to will cease to exist. We will unravel, and that is precisely the point. We let go so we can get free. We change so that we can remember what never changes.

Audra, Nancy and our guide Uschi will support you on a journey of a lifetime.

NANCY NOMELLINI

Nancy Nomellini is a Taiwanese American yoga teacher and the studio owner of Mother Yoga in Seattle, Washington.

Nancy teaches 200 & 300 hr teacher trainings throughout the United States as well as spiritual retreats throughout Northern India.

Nancy is celebrated for her unique style of blending together ancient yogic philosophy related to our modern times without losing the heart and soul of YOGA at its essence.

AUDRA CARMINE

As a dharma and meditation teacher, I weave the esoteric teachings seamlessly with the personal, inspiring students to take the two wings of practice-- wisdom and compassion--into the simple moments that make up the content of their daily lives.

I am deeply connected to the fact that even the practice can become a trap and an identity, in and of itself. It is through humor, lightness, and not taking myself too seriously that I continue to disentangle myself from spiritual materialism, the white supremacist hierarchy, the patriarchy, and the spiritual bypassing that is so prevalent in the wellness world.
